Surprise

I got temporarily bored by the triangle and started something new with some Noro that I got a while back. It’s called Noro Knots, because the knots and unexpected colour changes in the yarn enhance this pattern. Here’s a photo:

Prototype

Thanks for the comments on yesterday’s post – this is what the triangle looked like pre-ripping:

There seemed to be too much going on, and there are 25 colours in some rows (this goes against my resolution to produce simpler patterns which people are more likely to buy).
I think a plainer lower section will make the pattern more interesting. Also the yarnovers along the spine will be eliminated for the final pattern and replaced with M1L’s and M1R’s.

Ends are now woven in and it’s blocking – fortunately it’s a mild breezy day.
