Knit Red Book Giveaway!

I’m delighted to say that I have a copy of Laura Zander’s Knit Red Book to give away today, courtesy of Jimmy Beans Wool and SoHo Publishing.
Just leave a comment below if you’d like to be included in the draw…
(Draw closes midnight PST Thursday 15th June – that’s 8am Friday morning here in Dublin) The draw is now closed, thanks for all the coments! – result later today Friday.

And here are a couple of shots of the original swatch photoshopped into repeat – the swatching was done last July using Icelandic lace weight yarn.
I chose nature-related motifs to suggest healthy living and getting out and about, and went for a classic look.

I already bought the book! It is full of fabulous patterns – many of which I would like to make including the red stole/shawl. So if I win, throw my name back in and draw for someone else. Just couldn’t resist making a comment. It is the nicest knitting book that I own.

  Okay, I’m changing my mind! If I win, I want the book (even though I already have one). I’ll gift it to a knitting friend! I love the red stole and the recommended yarn is the Classic Elite silky alpaca. I am using that very same yarn in another color now and it is a dream to work with.

I would love to be included. I love to knit and heart disease is unfortunately something that has happened in my family. My mother recently had a aortic aneurysm dissection and I have a young niece (one today) who was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (half a heart essentially).
