The Tenters pub stands on a corner of this empty site – the area is called the Tenters, referring to textile manufacture in the past. Interesting article on the subject here.

What beautiful photos: the pub and the flowers. Love the two-toned painting on the pub. Could be a building in Boston. And the flowers! Maybe inspiration for a circular shawl – especially the third starburst. Of course these are some of my fav colors.
