My sincere condolences to you and those who were lucky enough to have her happy little soul in their lives. It was always a real pleasure to see her adventures in your posts. She will be missed more, and from farther afield, than she could ever have imagined. (From Ottawa)
I share in sending condolences and hope your grieving is lightened, a little bit, by the knowledge that you gave her a lovely life with a lot of love. Her sweet spirit and enjoyment of the time you spent together were evident in all your pictures of her.
The Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies
that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm
and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health
and vigour; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,
just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and
looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers.
Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs
carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your
special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head,
and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your
life but never absent from your heart.
Sweet precious Mini. I always enjoyed her antics and thought of her as the luckiest dog in the world to have somebody like you to care for her. Maybe you cared for each other…it’s like that with dogs, isn’t it? Know there are people all over the world who are sharing your pain and are sending you love in your moment of need.
Oh Kieran, I am so sorry. Mini touched so many of us with her charm and adorableness, and her adventurous spirit. How heartbreaking to lose such a good friend. Sending love and wishing you peace during this sad time. xo
Some more tears for the loss of your lovely little adventurer. You have lovely memories captured in your photographs and our thoughts are with you – am thinking of her at Glendalough, surely one of the most wonderful places. Katy xx
Oh I am so sorry. Mini was such an amazing model for your photos and I know she was a huge part of your life. She is missed by you and so many of us who only knew her though your photos. She always made me smile.
So sorry to hear that Miss Mini has departed, even though it was expected. It’s always so hard to say goodbye to our little fur babies. My boys and I are sending you lots of purrs, head butts and hugs.
So very sorry to hear about Mini – clearly you both were besotted with each other. I love the picture of her with the leaf on her head. My 2 Maine Coon cats and I send our thoughts to you from Connecticut, USA.
Such joy they fill our hearts with. I love the photo of her running in the grass. When one of my little dogs died, I had a dream that night of her running in the grass just like that photo! I KNOW we will see them again. They are real troopers.
I’d bought a new laptop and my feeds disappeared in the transfer. I’ve just realized Mimi is gone. I’m so sorry to hear this she was obviously a loved companion and I will miss seeing her in your photos
